The Edmonton Prospects are proud to announce the signing of a trio of players. Mark Strey, Geoff Mann and Jarvis Greiner.
Mark Strey is a 6’1”, 195 lb. outfielder who is in his junior year from the University of Wisconsin, playing for the Milwaukee Panthers Baseball team. Prior to playing at UWM, he spent two years with MATC where he earned an All-Wisconsin Technical College Conference honours.
Geoff Mann is a 6’5”, right-handed pitcher, a sophomore attending Waldorf College. The big “righty” hails from London, Ontario. Geoff is currently second on the team in appearances, while sporting a 1-3 record.
Jarvis Greiner, is a 5’10” right-handed utility player from Edmonton. Jarvis was part of an Edmonton Prospects’ infield that led the league in turning double plays last year. Jarvis is also able to come out of the pen, evident by his 2.89 ERA last season. He is currently attending Biola University in Los Angeles, California. For the current season Jarvis is on the disabled list with a labrum strain. Jarvis is looking forward to competing for his hometown again.
